What was the highlight of Hotel Calimala
Hotel Calimala was a great choice with it's luxurious rooms and central location.
The location was amazing. The room was over looking the marketplace. The rooftop bar was really fun. The style of the room was lovely, especially the large windows. The staff was helpful.
There was no continental breakfast. No grand lobby to welcome you. I thought the key card to use electricity was strange.

Wonderful
Perfectly located hotel near Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, Duomo, and amazing restaurants. Easy walk to everything! Rooms are quirky and modern but our rooms were dark with just a light well. Rooftop is amazing for breakfast or drinks. Good restaurant recommendations from concierge. Returned multiple times to Osteria Porcellino.
Got unlucky with incredibly loud upstairs neighbor rearranging furniture all night and early morning. Front desk tried everything they could and comped us breakfast. No place to put anything in the bathroom other than a tiny shelf.

The staff were exceptional - very helpful and responsive. The hotel was beautiful and in great local
We had breakfast one of the mornings. It’s was very good. Nice variety. Fruits and vegetables were very fresh.
It was very noisy, especially when a lot of people came back one night very late from a party. They kept talking to each other and knocking on doors, which is not the fault of the hotel, but there was nothing to help dampen the noise.
